Signal Controller
S-6 contains all the Electronic Logic to operate six (6) 2 or 3-aspect Trackside Signal Heads, and operates from Inputs such as Block Occupancy Detectors (such as our DET-1), Turnout-Position Switches, and Control Panel Dispatcher's Switches. Includes Edge Connector and Connection Diagram shown. |
Signal Drivers
RD Circuits (RD-N, RD-S) contain transistor drivers, dropping resistors and other components to allow the S-6 to operate user's trackside signals that are not Common-Positive LED's. Each RD Circuit operates two (2) Signal Heads. (The S-6 directly operates Common-Positive LED signals without RD's).

Crossing Signal Flasher and Detector
XFL detects trains on one or more tracks, operates alternating flashing LED or lamp Grade Crossing Signals, and simultaneously operates a constant 5-volt 200 ma Negative DC output to operate Sound Circuits, Crossing Gates, or Relays. Two sets of Infra-Red Detectors operate the circuitry completely independent of Track Power, and can span 20" for multiple track crossings. Each Detector consists of an Infra-Red LED and its Receiver. Circuit is actuated if one or both of the Detectors is blocked by passing trains. Built-in adjustable Time-Delay-Off assures actuation is continuous (not interrupted by space between cars). Circuitry operates regardless of ambient layout lighting. |
